For more than 20 years The Art League of Long Island’s Summer Art Adventure Program has been offering kids and teens fun and creative activities led by experienced art educators. Art Adventurers explore a variety of visual arts mediums in age appropriate projects geared to expand students’ artistic horizons. The atmosphere is inspiring and fun. A salon-style art exhibit for family and friends is held at the end of each session. Flexible options allow you to choose one or all program sessions.

Early Childhood and Young Artist Programs (ages 5-10) feature weekly activities centered on exciting themes.  Sessions start July 10 and end week of August 7, 2017. Mature Artists (ages 11-14) hone their artistic skills in 10-day sessions beginning July 10 and July 24. Summer Pre-College Programs in Portfolio Development, Fashion, and Architecture (ages 14-18) have three-week sessions beginning July 10 and offer serious art students the chance to delve deeper into the arts in a relaxed atmosphere with like-minded individuals.

Now in its third year, our partnership program gives parents the option of enrolling kids ages 5-9 in the mornings at Summer Art Adventure and afternoons at the nearby Park Shore Country Day Camp.

Locations: Early Childhood, Young Artists, and Mature Artists at Chestnut Hill Elementary School in Dix Hills, Summer Pre-College Programs at the Art League Center in Dix Hills. Both locations offer air-conditioned comfort.
