In addition to our fantastic beaches on the ocean and the Long Island Sound, Long Island has a ton of inlets and rivers ideal for small, personal boats. Kayaks and canoes make for an incredible method to travel up and down these channels, as well as along the Sound—these lightweight, narrow watercrafts are easy to transport and provide a terrific way to enjoy the local scenery while getting some great exercise. Single and multi-person varieties of the boats are both available, so you can paddle on your own or with friends and family! If you’re looking to enjoy a wonderful day out on the water, then check out these local kayak and canoe rental shops.
