"Special Statement" ...Black ice overnight... Black ice will form overnight on untreated surfaces as temperatures fall into the 20s. Melted snow from this morning's storm will refreeze creating hazardous conditions on surfaces that have been cleared of snow...but untreated for ice. These food pantries help to provide healthy, well balanced meals to those in need, making sure that our neighbors do not have to go hungry. By volunteering your time or donating food, you can help to keep Long Islanders healthy and hunger-free.
