Mastic Beach, NY - October 30th, 2013 - Eleven William Floyd High School students have been selected for the NYSCAME (New York State Council of Administrators for Music Education) All-County Music Festival, an honors festival for students who have demonstrated excellence on their instruments or with their voices. The students will perform at the NYSCAME All-County Music Festival in November.

“This is a great honor for our music students, our teachers and our school district,” said Ryan Feldscher, lead music teacher, William Floyd School District. “To be recognized for this particular festival, students must be among the best 11th- and 12th-grade musicians in Suffolk County. These students and their teachers work very hard and have truly earned this recognition.”

The following students have been named for NYSCAME All-County: Brianna Balzano (alto) and Samantha Passarella (soprano) for Women’s Choir; Brittnee Brennin (alto), Matthew Frisher (tenor), Nicholas Terlato (tenor), Kwasi Enin (bass) and Michael Walker (bass) for Mixed Choir; Delaney Hafener (french horn), David Pennise (french horn) and Avalon Monti (trumpet) for Band; and Katerina Grein (violin) for Orchestra.
