Poor Paulette was actually adopted from Last Hope Animal Rescue 4 years ago. All was going well when she was returned because her family is fostering, possibly adopting, a baby, and the birth mother stipulated she did not want the baby to live with a dog. Now this sweet pea is back at Last Hope. Each time she goes outside she looks around for her former family. It’s heartbreaking. Also waiting for her forever home is Penny. Found in a parking lot by a dumpster, Penny and her sisters were hungry and alone. Luckily, they were rescued and given a second chance. Lovingly home fostered and vetted, these little cuties were born in June 2016 are ready to be your new best friends. Four-year-old Zubo stole everyone's hearts when he arrived at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter. Zubo and his sister Pandora were abandoned by their owner, and left with a relative. Their owner never came back for them, and the relative was no longer able to take care of them. Zubo is a very, very handsome boy, who weighs in at a very petite 53 lbs. He is shy with new people, so you need to let him come to you, but boy oh boy, when he does! Zubo will crawl into your lap, kiss you, and be your new BFF. Zubo is social with dogs, and remember, lived with his sister Pandora. Zubo is also extremely house trained, making it even more heartbreaking that he has no home. Zubo is guaranteed to make an incredible best friend, who is sure to love you and be by your side every day.
