The Public Information Office reports on a Water Emergency that occurred on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 3:07 pm in Wantagh.
According to Police, 911 received a call for a 57-year-old male onboard his boat having a cardiac episode.
A Town of Oyster Bay Bay Constable located the victim and transported him to the Jones Beach Theater where he was airlifted via Nassau County Aviation Helicopter 5 to a local area hospital where he is currently in stable condition.
