Third Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Levittown man for an incident that occurred on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:33 a.m. in Mineola.
 
According to detectives, a male intentionally pulled the fire alarm inside of Nassau County Supreme Court located at 100 Supreme Court Drive without cause. As a result, the building was evacuated.
 
The investigation determined Connor McCoy, 19, of 53 Water Lane North was responsible. Detectives responded to his residence where he became violent and combative. While attempting to place McCoy under arrest, he bit a detective on his right forearm. The detective was evaluated and treated at a local hospital.
 
Defendant McCoy is charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident 1 st Degree, Assault 2 nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. He will be arraigned on Friday, August 29, 2025 at First District Court, Mineola.
