Suffolk Police Seeking Missing Patchogue Man Who is Diabetic and Schizophrenic

SCPD have issued a Silver Alert for Lawrence Werner, 68, a missing Patchogue man.

Patchogue, NY - October 11, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Patchogue man who is diabetic and schizophrenic.
 
Lawrence Werner, 68, was last seen in the rear yard of his home, located at 127 River Ave. in Patchogue, on October 10 at approximately 8:30 a.m. Werner is white, 6 feet 4 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and a long beard. He was wearing a shirt featuring some type of baseball logo and was carrying a brown satchel. Werner left the area on foot.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on Werner’s location to call 911 or the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
