Elmont, NY - July 4, 2016 - The Fifth Squad reports the details of an arrest of an Elmont man for Attempted Burglary that occurred on Monday, July 04, 2016 at 4:30 am in Elmont.
According to detectives, a 59 year old female victim heard a noise on the roof of her Stone Street home. Upon arrival, police observed a male in the rear yard along with a cut window screen and an attached ransacked garage. After an investigation defendant Justin Luna, 20, Elmont, was placed under arrest without incident. There were no proceeds.
Defendant Luna is being charged with Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at First District Court, Hempstead.
