Police: Suspects Pried Open Poor Boxes, Stole Donated Money from Syosset Church

Syosset, NY - June 13, 2018 - Second Squad detectives are investigating a Burglary that occurred on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 7:00 pm in Syosset.
 
According to detectives, two (2) males entered St. Edward the Confessor Church located at 205 Jackson Avenue and pried open four (4) separate donation boxes. The subjects damaged the boxes and removed an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
 
The first subject is described as a male black, thin build, with short black hair. He was wearing a black and white jacket and pants.
 
The second subject is described as a male black, medium build, with a beard and black hair. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black and white pants and grey sneakers.
