Suspects in Multiple Thefts from Suffolk Businesses Wanted by Police

There have been ten larcenies where a suspect/s stole tools and/or construction equipment from vehicles and/or storage trailers since October.

Suffolk County, NY - January 22, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives and First Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people responsible for stealing items from businesses during the past few months.
 
A person or people stole tools and/or construction equipment from vehicles and/or storage trailers located at businesses in industrial areas in East Farmingdale, Wyandanch and West Babylon. There have been 10 similar larcenies since October.
 
Police are advising business owners to be alert and report suspicious activity. Police are reminding business owners of the importance of having adequate lighting. Businesses with cameras are encouraged to make sure the equipment is operating properly.
