Two Arrested in Connection with 2017 Armed Robbery of Floral Park Jewelry Store, Police Report

NCPD reports the arrests of Darkel Davis of Cambria Heights, 31, and Justice Brunson of Brooklyn, 39, for Robbery.

Floral Park, NY - February 8, 2018 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrests of two (2) men for Robbery that occurred on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:52 pm in Floral Park.
 
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, Darkel Davis, 31, of Cambria Heights, and Justice Brunson, 39, of Brooklyn, entered Atelier Jewelry located at 10 Woodbine Court. Once inside, the two (2) defendants displayed handguns and ordered the employees to the floor. Davis and Brunson went through the display cases and removed assorted jewelry, including watches. The defendants fled from the scene and no injuries were reported.
 
Defendant Davis was charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree. Davis was charged with an additional count of Robbery 1st Degree for an unrelated incident. He was previously arraigned on January 23, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
 
Defendant Brunson is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Robbery 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned Thursday, February 08, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
