Statement From Governor Andrew M. Cuomo About Con Edison's Executive Bonuses in the Wake of Poor Sandy Response
Published: April 30 2013
Long Island News & PR
Governor Cuomo reassures New Yorkers that Con Ed's planned bonuses for executives will be under review, in light of poor response to Superstorm Sandy.
Albany, NY - April 30, 2013 - "This administration is fully committed to protecting ratepayers, especially after the utilities' lackluster performance before, during, and after Superstorm Sandy. No ratepayer should pay a single penny for bonuses given to senior utility executives, especially for bonuses awarded for their performance during Sandy. I anticipate Con Ed will fully cooperate with the PSC review. "
