Farmingdale, NY - April 11, 2017 - Farmingdale High School art students recently participated in both the “Cultural Arts Day” competition sponsored by the Farmingdale Women’s Club and Junior League of Farmingdale and the All County Art competition. The school’s participation in both events was part of a District initiative to help students gain exposure and showcase their outstanding talents.

Farmingdale student-artists participated in the following categories in the Cultural Arts Day competition: Watercolor, Acrylic, Pen and Ink, Charcoal, Digital Illustration, Photography, Crafts, Ceramics, Sculpture and more.
 
More than 1,200 student-artists from Nassau County participated in the All County Art competition, of which 15 from participated from Farmingdale High School. Students exhibited a wide variety of art, including two-dimensional visual art media and three-dimensional sculptures.
