Long Island MacArthur Airport unveiled a new mobile-friendly website that officials say is designed to provide customers with easy access to essential information such as flight routes, on-time schedules, airport dining options, news updates, and more.

Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter emphasized the website's role in promoting the airport to both local residents and visitors, and leveraging advanced technology.

“Using the latest technology, we are able to target helpful messages to our customers based on their location when they go to our new airport website,” she said.

Airport Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken highlighted the website's user-friendly design and accessibility across various devices, aiming to enhance customer engagement and awareness of MacArthur Airport's offerings. The site complements the airport's social media presence.

The airport has plans to further enhance the website with valuable information, news updates, and collaborations with local businesses.

Looking ahead to 2024, MacArthur Airport will focus on initiatives such as STEM & Aviation Education partnerships, Fly Local campaigns for businesses, and continued efforts in air service development and marketing, all aimed at enriching the Long Island economy and airport experience.
