The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Bellport man on April 24, 2024 at 1:08 PM for multiple larcenies that occurred in Nassau County.
According to Detectives, an investigation was conducted that led to the arrest of Emmitt Smith, 43, of 545 Post Avenue. During the investigation it was determined that defendant Emmitt Smith was responsible for the following larcenies:
- August 5, 2023 at 10:42 am - Macy's, 1095 Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream
- August 4, 2023 at 6:00 pm - Ulta Beauty, 5252 Sunrise Highway, Massapequa
- July 31, 2023 at 8:02 pm - Home Depot, 101 Green Acres Road, W. Valley Stream
- July 28, 2023 at 7:55 pm - Dick's Sporting Goods, 1188 Sunrise Mall, Massapequa
- July 15, 2023 at 1:00 am - Target, 2003 Broadway Mall, Hicksville
- July 9, 2023 at 2:24 pm - Lowe's, 920 S. Broadway, Hicksville
- July 6, 2023 at 7:50 pm - Home Goods, 1644 Merrick Road, Merrick
- June 11, 2023 at 6:47 pm - Home Depot, 111 Jericho Turnpike, Jericho
- March 2, 2023 at 7:25 pm - Lowe's, 920 S. Broadway, Hicksville
- June 25, 2022 at 5:43 pm – Kohl’s, 5300 Sunrise Highway, Massapequa
Defendant Emmitt Smith has been previously arrested a total of 46 times (15 Felony Arrests, 31 Misdemeanor Arrests). He is charged with six counts of Grand Larceny 4th degree and four counts of Petit Larceny. He will be arraigned on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
