The National Weather Service in New York NY has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect from noon to 4 PM EST Monday. The Coastal Flood Watch is no longer in effect. * LOCATIONS...Southwestern Suffolk. * TIMING...From noon to 4 PM EST Monday. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. * SHORELINE IMPACTS...The combination of elevated water levels and high surf along the ocean beachfront should also result in moderate beach erosion and localized splashovers around the times of high tide. The Knox School's Fall Admissions Open House
Join The Knox School on Wednesday, November 16th at 10 AM
The Knox School will be having its fall admissions Open House on Saturday, November 16th. The Open House is designed for families who are applying for admission to grades six through twelve for the 2014-2015 school year or who just want to investigate a possible schooling option prior to applying. The program will feature tours of the campus, lead by student tour guides, meetings with academic department chairs and other administrators, and opportunities to speak with current parents. Registration begins at 9:30am and the program begins promptly at 10:00am. The program will conclude by 12:30 pm.
