Hempstead, NY - November 30, 2016 - The Village of Hempstead recently recognized Girl Scout Troop #300 for their positive contribution toward creating a Thanksgiving feast for the community. During the event, Mayor Wayne J. Hall Sr., Deputy Mayor Luis Figueroa and Troop #300 served food community members in the Village. Mayor Hall praised the girls for their civic interest and answered questions about his role as Mayor in helping the community thrive. On behalf of the Village, Mayor Hall presented Troop #300 with a Certificate of Recognition for their outstanding work supporting residents in the Village.
