Two Rosedale Men Arrested for Illegal Firearm during Traffic Stop, NCPD Says

Defendants Alfred Thomas and Nakeem Delisle are both charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of two Rosedale men for Criminal Possession of a Firearm. This incident occurred on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 7:56 PM in Hewlett.
 
According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct Officers were on routine patrol as they approached the intersection of Mill Road and West Broadway when they observed a white Nissan Altima commit multiple Vehicle and traffic law violations. 
 
Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop. 
 
During the investigation officers recovered a loaded 9-millimeter Taurus semi-automatic firearm, a loaded magazine and additional loose ammunition. The defendants were placed into custody without further incident.
 
Defendants Alfred Thomas and Nakeem Delisle are both charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree.  
 
They will be arraigned on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
