Bellport, NY - October 3, 2017 - Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a burglary during which a man was shot in Bellport early this morning.
 
Two men armed with handguns entered a residence on Walker Ave. at approximately 2:50 a.m. and shot a resident in his arm. The men fled without proceeds. The victim, James Toney, 29, was transported via South Country Ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, New York for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
