Moshi Moshi Opens in Long Beach

Moshi Moshi, a new sushi and ramen restaurant opened in Long Beach recently. Featuring classic sushi rolls you might expect like California ($5.50), Spicy Tuna ($6) and Spicy Salmon ($6) and some specialty rolls like their Fox Lady Roll, made up of spicy crunchy shrimp and mango inside, topped with tempura eel, avocado, mango sauce and eel sauce ($12), or their Godzilla roll, of salmon, white tuns, crab meat, avocado and cream cheese deep fried and topped with spicy mayo, eel sauce, tobiko, and scallion ($12).

 

They have poke bowls on the menu like their spicy volcano bowl, made up of spicy tuns, spicy sampon, yellowtail, avocado, cucumber, jalapeno, sweet corn, crispy onion pickle ginger, callion, crunch, tobiko, and sesame seeds with chef’s special sauce ($14).

 

And they also feature ramen noodles and rice bowls.

 

On Yelp, Bee, from Long Beach, gave Moshi Moshi five stars.

 

“Have only tried once but I'll definitely be back,” she wrote. “Got a poke bowl and chicken Katsu curry rice bowl.”

 

Carrie, from Long Beach, also gave it five stars.

 

“So excited they are open in the west end,” she said. “Quick, fresh and delicious.”
