Police Conducting Search for Man Wanted for Discharging Firearm During Baldwin Confrontation

According to police, two men got into a verbal confrontation when one of the males pulled a large black handgun and fired one round into the ground.

Baldwin, NY - October 5, 2017 - First Squad Detectives are investigating a Reckless Endangerment that occurred on Tuesday, October 03, 2017 at 2:01 p.m. in Baldwin.
 
According to Detectives, two men got into a verbal confrontation in front of a residence on Grand Avenue. At this point one of the males pulled a large black handgun and fired one round into the ground. The subject then fled southbound on foot onto Grand Avenue.
 
The subject is described as a male black, thin and approximately six feet tall. He was wearing a multicolored sweatshirt, a skeleton pattern face mask, red shorts and red sneakers. No injuries were reported.
