Have you dreamed of having a modern burger in retro style? Then the new Bethpage Burger Bar is for you. From the exterior angled design and throwback signage to the old school diner layout and furnishings of the interior, this burger joint will stimulate your palette and the nostalgic region of your brain, even if your idea of a 1950s-era diner only comes from streaming old shows on Netflix.
The menu opens with - what else - a variety of colorful shakes. Tall dark chony is peanut butter and chocolate ice cream shake topped with chonky double chocolate chip peanut butter cookie, chocolate sauce, whipped cream & sprinkles. ($11). The chonky circus freak is cotton candy ice cream shake, topped w cotton candy chonky cookie, rainbow sprinkles, and whipped cream. ($11). Apps include lobster mac & cheese ($13), buffalo wings ($10), cheeseburger sliders ($9), and deep fried pickles ($8).

Specialty burgers (the main event here) include lobster & cheese burgers topped with lobster & homemade cheese sauce, served on a black brioche bun ($19), chili cheese burgers topped with chilli, cheese sauce, crispy onions on a brioche bun ($14), and South of the border burgers topped with pepper jack cheese, pickled Jalapeños, crispy onions, chipotle aioli, on a brioche bun ($14). The burgers are half-pounders.
They also have a build your own burger option as well as salmon burgers, which features a 7oz. salmon burger topped with guacamole and grilled red peppers with kickin' bayou sauce on a brioche bun and a black bean and corn veggie burger, a 7oz. black bean and corn veggie burger topped with lettuce, tomato and onion on a black brioche bun ($11).
Of course it is a Burger Bar, so alcoholic drinks are available. Specialty drinks and beer are both served.
