New List of Properties Deemed Unsafe by Brookhaven Town

At the Brookhaven Town board meeting in August, a number of properties in the town were deemed unsafe as defined by Chapter 73 pursuant to the engineer report of Cashin, Spinelli and Ferretti, LLC. The issues below are a matter of public record found here.

 

During the meeting it was announced that a public hearings will be heard at the September 13, 2022 Brookhaven Town Board Meeting:

On the resolution agenda upon completion of all general public comment the below properties were also deemed unsafe at the meeting. A public hearing was set by which the owner or other persons having an interest in the premises may be heard with respect to the condition of the premises and the actions necessary to secure or remove the same. These houses were also deemed unsafe as defined by Chapter 73 pursuant to the engineer report of Cashin, Spinelli and Ferretti, LLC.

  • 87 Avery Avenue, Patchogue
  • 0 Old Yaphank Road, Coram
  • 10 Smith Lane, Middle Island

The remainder of the houses below will also be heard by the public as to the status after they were deemed unsafe as defined by Chapter 73 pursuant to the engineer report of Cashin, Spinelli and Ferretti, LLC.
