The New York state department of environmental conservation has issued an air quality health advisory for the following counties... Nassau and Suffolk In effect from 11 am to 11 PM EDT Thursday. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an air quality index value of 100 for the pollutant of ground level ozone . The air quality index, or aqi, was created as an easy way to correlate levels of different pollutants to one scale. The higher the aqi value, the greater the health concern. When pollution levels are elevated, the New York state department of health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very Young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. Knife-Wielding Levittown Man Arrested After Chasing News Crew Off His Property, Cops Say

Jeremy Henggeler, 40, was taken into custody and has been charged with Menacing, Possession of a Weapon.

NCPD reports the arrest of Jeremy Henggeler, 40 for Menacing on Monday, May 01 in Levittown.

Levittown, NY - May 2, 2017 - The Second Squad reports the details of an arrest for Menacing on Monday, May 01, 2017 at 6:30 pm in Levittown.
 
According to police, Jeremy Henggeler, 40, was approached by a news crew while in his garage. As the female victim approached asking to speak to the suspect he displayed a knife and approached her in a threatening manner. The victim and a witness left the property and notified police who responded to the scene and placed the suspect under arrest without incident. No injuries were reported.
 
Henggeler is charged with Menacing 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at First District Court in Hempstead.
