NCPD are investigating an Attempted Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 6, in Farmingdale.

Farmingdale, NY - March 6, 2018 - Second Squad detectives are investigating an Attempted Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:30 A.M. in Farmingdale.
 
According to detectives, the 60 year old male victim was working as a cashier at 7-11 located at 150 Main Street. A male white entered the store, selected several items and approached the counter. The suspect then displayed a 6 inch knife and verbally demanded the employee open the register. The suspect fled the store without any proceeds. He was last seen on foot southbound Main Street. No injuries were reported.
 
The suspect is described as a stocky male white, 5’6”-5’10” wearing a blue hoodie, dark pants and gloves.
