Rated by Country Living as "one of the top six stunning lavender farms to visit in America," Lavender by the Bay in East Marion is open for the season. You can walk through “magical” fields of the fragrant flowers in bloom and enjoy a natural aromatic experience that is sure to soothe your spirits.

The 17-acre farm is home to over 80,000 English lavender and French lavender plants which flower and peak at different times during the season. Visits to the fields require a ticket which must be purchased in advance online at the Lavender by the Bay website. Each ticket is $12 for ages 6+ and good for a specific 90-minute time slot. Tickets are also available to visit Lavender by the Bay’s smaller farm located in Calverton.

After embracing the beauty of the fields and taking plenty of photos, visitors can shop for locally-produced lavender products and bring home the lovely scents of this vibrant purple flower.
