NCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Lifting Valuables from Gym Lockers

Levittown, NY - January 31st, 2014 - The Second Squad is investigating Grand Larcenies that occurred in Woodbury and Levittown.

According to detectives, on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am an unknown male described as white, medium build, thin face, goatee, 40 – 50 years of age entered the Equinox Fitness Club located at 7550 Jericho Turnpike and removed an undetermined amount of US currency, credit cards, and a watch from a 43 year old male victim’s unlocked locker. It was later discovered that the victim’s credit cards had been used to purchase merchandise in various department stores throughout Nassau County.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2014 between 12:15 pm and 2:05 pm in what appears to be the same subject entered the LA Fitness Club located at 3601 Hempstead Turnpike and broke into a 54 year old male locker and removed his car keys. It was later discovered that the victim’s wallet containing credit cards, undetermined amount of US Currency, driver’s license, Southwest Airline tickets ,and I phone  had also been removed from his locked 2014 Jeep. The victim’s credit cards were also used at a nearby department store to purchase merchandise.
