Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today at a TD Bank branch in Deer Park.

Deer Park, NY - October 27th, 2013 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today at a TD Bank branch in Deer Park.
 
A man entered the bank, located at 1361 Deer Park Ave., approached a teller, displayed a handgun and presented a note demanding cash at approximately 2:10 p.m.  The teller complied with the demand and gave the suspect cash from the drawer.  The man fled on foot and was last seen heading eastbound on Faulkner Avenue in Deer Park.
 
The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, between 35 and 45 years old and with a thin build. He was clean-shaven and was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.
