Massapequa, NY - November 15th, 2013 - The Seventh Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:00 p.m. in Massapequa.
According to detectives, a female, 20 years of age, was in her car, parked on the west side of Sunrise Mall with the driver door open, when a male black subject, dressed in all dark clothing, wearing a hooded sweatshirt approached and demanded her property.
The subject displayed a black a handgun as he reached into the vehicle and removed the car keys. The victim complied and handed the subject her pocketbook. He was accompanied by a second male black, no further description. Both subjects fled with the proceeds on foot westbound towards East Gate Road. There were no injuries reported.
