Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Father's Day is not too far away and it is not too late to prepare for your dad's big day. Father's Day was developed to celebrate new fathers, old fathers, and fathers who are no longer with us.

There are many ways people choose to celebrate. Many children will buy their father's wonderful gifts, take them out for dinner, or make something. Locally, a lot of places on Long Island have many great events for dads. So, be sure to check out all the events going on this week and tell your fathers how much you love them!
