The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a Wind Advisory...which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 6 am EDT Sunday. * Winds...west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * Timing...highest winds late this afternoon into early this evening. * Impacts...scattered tree limbs and branches downed. Isolated power outages. Strong gusty winds would blow around unsecured outdoor objects. Difficulty driving high profile vehicles. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring. In Ireland, it would be surprising to know that St. Patrick's Day is a religious holiday that is taken very seriously. However, St. Patrick's Day has become a yearly tradition to many people in the United States.

With parties, bars, and pub crawls, there are a lot of traditions people have created around the holiday. Many bars are hosting events where you can come dressed up in green, dance, and eat corned beef. Another tradition that has been formed is the pub crawl. Instead at staying at one bar, you would travel to various bars in an area. Move to different locations and meet tons of people.
