TRAVEL ADVISORY: Overnight Closures at the State Route 347/State Route 111 Interchange in the Town of Smithtown

The closures are beginning at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, and continuing until 5:30 a.m. the following morning for pavement repairs.

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists of the following closures at the interchange of State Route 347 and State Route 111 in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, and continuing until 5:30 a.m. the following morning for pavement repairs:

  • Eastbound State Route 347 will be closed.  Motorists will be detoured onto southbound State Route 111 to eastbound Town Line Road (Suffolk County Route 76) for approximately one mile to northbound North Hoffman Lane to northbound South Plaisted Avenue for access to State Route 347.
  • Southbound State Route 111 will be closed.  Motorists will be detoured onto westbound State Route 347 to southbound Brooksite Drive to eastbound Town Line Road for access to State Route 111.
  • Northbound State Route 111 will be closed.  Motorists will be detoured onto eastbound Town Line Road for approximately one mile to northbound North Hoffman Lane to northbound South Plaisted Avenue to westbound State Route 347 for access to State Route 111.
