Mangano Congratulates Roslyn High School Marching Band

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano congratulated the 2015 Roslyn High School Marching Band for their 1st Place win at the 42nd Annual New York State Field Band Conference in Syracuse.

Roslyn Heights, NY - December 28, 2015 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano congratulated the 2015 Roslyn High School Marching Band for their 1st Place win at the 42nd Annual New York State Field Band Conference in Syracuse. The “Marching Bulldogs” 121 band members have excelled performing at the Chick Fil-A Bowl, the Orange Bowl, Disney World, and Met Life Stadium.

“I congratulate the Roslyn Marching Bulldogs for their hard work, dedication and achievement in earning the top place in New York State's Field Band Conference. Band Director Pat Patterson and Assistant Band Director Michael Coffey devoted countless hours to assist and support our students, and Nassau County is proud to recognize their success,” stated County Executive Mangano.

The band is looking forward to a week at Disney World in Orlando, Florida in February 2016 where they are scheduled to perform in parades at both Epcot and Magic Kingdom Parks.
