Famed chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay will assisting a Long Island eatery in getting back on the track to success in the upcoming season finale of his smash-hit "Kitchen Nightmares" program, due to air tonight, December 4 at 8 p.m. on Fox.

Kitchen Nightmares sees the hot-tempered Brit travel to various restaurants in dire straits around the United States and using his years of know-how in the hospitality business to help them to revamp their menus, décor, and customer service in order to give them a new lease on life and revive their business.

Tonight's episode - the final of the program's eighth season, which has focused on establishments in New York and New Jersey - will feature Ramsay at Diwan, a waterfront Indian restaurant located in Port Washington that has recently been struggling after having been in business for over 30 years.

In the episode, as described by Fox, "Gordon steps in to help transform Diwan, an established Indian restaurant that is also running a Mexican restaurant out of the same kitchen in the all-new 'Max’s/Diwan' two-part season-finale episode."

Following a 10-year absence following the end of Kitchen Nightmares' seventh season, Fox announced in May 2023 that it would be reviving the series, with season eight premiering on September 25, 2023.
