Whether you're taking the subway into Penn Station or the Port Authority Bus Terminal to make your connections, traveling with Metro-North Railroad’s select New Haven Line service directly to Secaucus Junction or the Long Island Rail Road’s One-Ticket Rides, football fans won’t have to worry about traffic or parking and can just enjoy their favorite home team taking the field.

New York City Transit

The SBS M34, SBS M34A, M7 and M20 buses also go to Penn Station.

Customers can also take the A Subway Line C Subway Line E Subway Line  subway lines to Port Authority Bus Terminal (or make connections via the N Subway Line Q Subway Line R Subway Line S Subway Line 1 Subway Line 2 Subway Line 3 Subway Line 7 Subway Line  subway lines at Times Square) to catch Coach USA’s No. 351 bus to the Meadowlands.  The M42, M11, M20, M104 and SBS M34A also go to Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Metro-North Railroad
Metro-North will provide direct service from major New Haven Line stations (New Haven, West Haven, Bridgeport, Fairfield, Westport, South Norwalk, Stamford, Greenwich, Rye and Larchmont) to the stadium through a connection at NJ TRANSIT’s Secaucus Junction for all Sunday, 1 p.m. kick-off home games. At Secaucus Junction customers will transfer to an NJT shuttle for an express ride to the Meadowlands Sports Complex Station.

After the game, customers can take the shuttle back to Secaucus Junction and check the electronic information board (next to the Pascack Valley departures board) for departure information about the train to New Haven.

For non-direct service on Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines, customers can take Metro-North to Grand Central Terminal, ride the subway to Penn Station (the S Subway Line  or 7 Subway Line  subway to 42nd St./Times Square, then the downtown 1 Subway Line 2 Subway Line  or 3 Subway Line  to 34th St.-Penn Station), and transfer to a NJ TRANSIT  train to Meadowlands Sports Complex Station (connecting at Secaucus Junction). After the game, customers can ride the NJT shuttle to Secaucus Junction for NJ TRANSIT NY Penn Station-bound trains and take the subway from Penn to Grand Central.

Pascack Valley and Port Jervis Lines
Customers can get to the Meadowlands Sports Complex Station from Spring Valley, Nanuet and Pearl River stations on the Pascack Valley Line as well as from Port Jervis Line stations, connecting at Secaucus Junction. After the game, customers can ride the NJT shuttle to Secaucus Junction and transfer for train service to Pascack Valley or Port Jervis Line stations.

Metro-North customers can purchase their Train to the Game tickets by purchasing a round-trip ticket to the Meadowlands Sports Complex Station at a ticket machine or ticket office. The price of the ticket is the same as the round-trip fare from any station to Grand Central Terminal plus $10.50 (for the round-trip ticket purchase for the portion of the trip from NY Penn Station to the Meadowlands Sports Complex Station)

Long Island Rail Road
LIRR customers can get a special single-purchase, round-trip ticket which is good for travel on the LIRR and NJ TRANSIT on game days and includes the standard LIRR fare and $10.50 for the New Jersey portion of travel.

Customers can take a regularly scheduled LIRR train to Penn Station. At Penn, grab an NJ TRANSIT train for the 12-minute ride to NJT's Secaucus Junction Station (SEC). From there, hop on NJT shuttle train for a short ride that takes you to the stadium. Train service will run frequently starting approximately three hours before each game and up to two hours after the game.

LIRR customers can purchase joint LIRR/NJT tickets to "Meadowlands" Station for off-peak one-way, round-trip and ten-trip travel. At machines, select the button that reads "...to Another Station", then select "M", then "Meadowlands" Station. These tickets are valid for travel on both LIRR and NJT trains for football games and limited events. We recommend you purchase round-trip tickets before boarding since NJT does NOT sell this joint ticket, and tickets purchased on-board trains cost more (see NJT ticket rules).Commuters/customers who already have an LIRR ticket to NY Penn or Zone 1 must purchase an NJT ticket to the Meadowlands. NJT tickets can be purchased at windows on the NJ TRANSIT upper level or a ticket machine available throughout the NJT upper and lower levels. NJT machines list Penn as “New York Penn Station.” Please allow extra time as lines may be long before games. We suggest using machines in NJT waiting area.

LIRR and NJT trains are not direct connections - please time your trip accordingly. For all game times, NJT has three departures in the first 15 minutes after the hour, for at least two or three hours before the game. See LIRR schedules and NJT Meadowlands schedules.
