Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and First Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man that stole a donation jar from a business in Wyandanch.

Wyandanch, NY - November 20th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and First Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man that stole a donation jar from a business in Wyandanch.
 
A man entered the Wyandanch Beer Co., located at 394 Long Island Avenue, and took a donation jar and left the store on November 16 at 3:30 p.m.  The donations, which totaled between $30 and $40, were being collected for a 12-year-old boy with a life-threatening and debilitating disability.
 
The suspect was described as a heavy-set, dark-skinned black male and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
