We rounded up some of the best holiday parades across Long Island.

 

Patchogue Holiday Boat Parade - 27th annual Christmas/Holiday parade on the beautiful Patchogue river starts at 5pm. Free public viewing at Sandspit Park (Davis Park Ferry Terminal) and FINS (Watch Hill terminal) as well as all the waterfront restaurants. Where: Patchogue Village. When: November 19th at 5pm.

 

Patchogue’s 61st Annual Christmas Parade- Where: Main Street Patchogue. When: November 25th at 6pm.

 

2023 Port Jefferson Santa Parade & Visit - Start the Holiday Season off by attending the 2023 Port Jefferson Santa Parade & Visit. The Santa Parade will be at 3pm on Main Street. After the parade, visit Santa in the Port Jefferson Village Center. Where: Port Jefferson Village. When: November 26th at 3pm.

 

Holiday Boat Parade in Freeport - Festively decorated boats along Freeport's Nautical Mile. Where: Woodcleft Ave., Freeport. When: December 2nd at 7pm.

 

Long Beach Electric Light Parade - The City of Long Beach and the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce present the 10th Annual Electric Light Parade. So bundle up, bring your holiday spirit, and join us at this beautiful Long Beach tradition. The parade travels through the West End of Long Beach on West Beech Street, beginning at Ohio Avenue. Antique cars, fire trucks, floats, and bicycles will be wrapped in Christmas lights for this delightful holiday event. Where: Ohio Avenue, Long Beach. When: December 9th at 6pm.

 

Riverhead Holiday Bonfire + Parade - Frosty temps are no match for Downtown Riverhead’s Annual Holiday Parade + Bonfire. No matter what holidays you celebrate, all are welcome to watch the Riverhead Lions Club kick off the holiday season with their annual parade followed by the Riverhead BID’s annual bonfire. Where: Downtown Riverhead. When: December 9th at 3pm.
