Baldwin, NY - September 21st, 2013 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Baldwin on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:21 am.
 
According to detectives, a 59 year old female victim was in the  parking lot of Basket of Laundry located at 1000 Merrick Road loading laundry into her 2004 grey Hyundai Accent  NY license plate number CYJ-3587 when an unknown male white grabbed her from behind demanding her car keys and then threw her to the ground. The male subject then fled in the car west on Merrick Road. He is described as being 5’6” – 5’7” tall, thin build, dark hooded sweatshirt with no zipper, long dark pants. The female victim suffered a bruise to her left elbow. 
 
Detectives request that anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
