Roosevelt, NY - October 25th, 2013 - The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred at 3:30am in Roosevelt on October 25, 2013.
 
According to Detectives, an unknown suspect entered the Roosevelt K Laundromat located at 455 Nassau Road.  The suspect was armed with a hammer and began to smash the glass of two quarter operated machines and remove an undetermined amount of US currency.  As the male attendant, 24, approached the suspect, the suspect struck the victim in the left elbow with the hammer.  The victim sustained substantial pain and swelling to the elbow.  The suspect fled the scene westbound on Clinton Avenue.  There were no customers in the Laundromat at the time of the Robbery,  

The suspect is described as a male black, in his late 30’s, 6’ ft. tall, thin build, mustache, blue jeans, black gloves and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood on his head.
