Amid the aftermath of Hurricane Edna, Floral Park resident Jack Rubin found himself compelled to navigate the inundated Little Neck Parkway on foot, pushing his bicycle alongside him. As depicted in the printed image, the bicycle's basket and Mr. Rubin's coat sleeves appear to have been emphasized with ink, likely to enhance visibility for newspaper publication.
