Police Investigating Freeport Armed Robbery, Assault That Left One Man Injured

A male victim, 55, was in a parking lot when he approached by two unknown male Hispanics who displayed a handgun, cops say.

Freeport, NY - Sept. 28, 2018 - The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:55 p.m. in Freeport.
 
According to detectives, a male victim, 55, was in the rear parking lot of 70 South Main Street when he approached by two (2) unknown male Hispanics. Subject #1 displayed what was believed to be handgun. The victim dropped to the ground and both subjects pulled the victim’s backpack away from him. The subjects kicked the victim and took the bag containing an undisclosed amount of US currency and the victim’s keys. 
 
Both subjects fled in a dark gray newer model BMW. The victim did suffer cuts and scrapes to his right arm, right leg, left index finger and pain to his ribs from being kicked.
 
Both subjects are described as male Hispanic, 20-25 years of age, approximately 5’9” tall with medium builds. Subject #1 was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and subject #2 had a mustache and goatee.
