Franklin Square Sandwich Shop Robbed at Gunpoint, Authorities Say

NCPD: A male suspect entered Subway, took out a handgun, and demanded the employee to open the register.

The Fifth Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred in Franklin Square.
 
According to detectives, a male white suspect entered a Subway sandwich shop located at 679 Franklin Avenue. Once inside, he pointed a small dark handgun at a female customer, 35, pushing and ordering her to the rear of the shop, behind the counter. The suspect then demanded the male employee, 21, open the register. After the male victim complied, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of US currency and fled northbound on foot.  No injuries were reported.
 
The male white suspect is described as approximately 40 years old, 6’2” tall, with a regular build.  He was wearing gloves, a black brimmed hat and had a stocking over his face.
