Lake Ronkonkoma, NY - July 20, 2018 - Suffolk County Police on Friday, July 20 arrested a 14-year-old male for vandalizing the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial.
 
The Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Park in Lake Ronkonkoma was vandalized on Thursday, July 19. Following an investigation by Fourth Squad detectives, a 14-year-old male was arrested at his Ronkonkoma home at 3 a.m. on Friday, July 20.
 
The 14-year-old was charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree. He is scheduled to be arraigned at Family Court on a later date.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
