The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 2:25 a.m. in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, a 51-year-old female was operating a 2003 Honda Accord eastbound on East Barclay Street when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree near the intersection of Bay Avenue.
A 52-year-old male passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.
The operator of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
