Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) recently joined the Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the grand opening of Atelier on Spring Galerie and present a Nassau County Citation to owner Jerelyn Hanrahan.

Located at 19 Spring St., this venue for contemporary art is owned and curated by Hanrahan, an artist and curator with an extensive international career.

“While existing and new businesses in every sector of our economy have encountered tremendous challenges during the past yet, the economic impact throughout the arts world has been particularly harsh,” Legislator Lafazan said. “That is why it is so inspiring when new spaces like Atelier on Spring Galerie open their doors to aspiring artists and their admirers. It was truly a pleasure to welcome Atelier on Spring Galerie to the Oyster Bay business community and I wish Jerelyn continued success in the months and years ahead.”
