On Saturday, June 25, 2022, at approx 1:30 pm, a male/black on a scooter circled around to befriend a 75 year-old Hispanic senior that does not speak English. The perp asked to pet the dog, and when he realized that he could easily steal the dog, he drove off, almost running the grandfather down. A report has been filed with the 102 Police PCT, and a detective from PDU has been assigned and is actively investigating this crime.
The Ozone Park Residents Block Association had posted an explicit video, pictures of the perp, and the actual video of how and when he took the dog.
