Frankfurter fans, lovers of the most famous hot dog born out of Brooklyn, there’s a new Nathan’s hot dog on the market.

Jericho-based Nathan’s Famous has launched Jalapeño and Cheddar beef hot dogs that come five in a pack at grocery stores.

“They have the same Nathan’s Famous original taste you love, now with jalapeños and cheddar,” the company said.

The new variation on a theme follows Nathan’s roll out of franks with other flavors such as cheddar cheese beef as well as angus beef hot dogs in addition to its traditional products.

Founded 1916, Nathan’s makes beef hot dogs with no artificial flavors or by-products. You can now add jalapeno and cheddar to the  options, however, if you’d like.

“Pick some up at your favorite local grocery retailer and make sure your next hot dog has the nostalgic Nathan’s Famous taste America loves,” the company said on its website.

Nathan’s products are sold in about  78,000 locations, including supermarkets, mass merchandisers and club stores throughout the United States. More than 700 million Nathan’s Famous hot dogs were sold last year, according to the company.
