Hicksville, NY - May 2nd, 2014 - The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Hicksville man for a Larceny that occurred on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 1:45 p.m. in Hicksville.

According to detectives, the defendant Michael Cappiello, 48 of 17 Michigan Drive was working as an independent contractor for PSEG located at 175 Old Country Road when he was observed by an employee placing four bundles of copper wire into the rear of his pickup truck and left the property.  On Thursday, May 1, 2014 Cappiello surrendered to detectives at the Second Precinct. The property was never recovered.

The defendant is charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree and will be arraigned on Friday, May 02, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
