Westbury, NY - April 8th, 2016 - For men who like to sing in the shower or the car, or have sung in a school chorus, a community theater musical or a church choir, the Long Island Harmonizers, who rehearse in Westbury, are ready to teach how that love for singing can be turned into a great hobby.
"Give us six Tuesday evenings," says the group's musical director Maurice Debar, "and we'll give you the skills you need to experience all the fun of solo or group singing."
The course, called "Ready, Set, Sing!" is taught by Debar and is open to men of all ages. There is absolutely no obligation and both beginning and experienced singers are welcome. All learning materials are free. "You don't even have to know how to read music," says Debar.

"We'll teach you everything you need to know to sing richly and resonantly to produce ear-pleasing harmony. You'll soon be enjoying the ringing of a cappella chords and the company of a great bunch of fellow singers."
The initial series of lessons will be held at Winthrop Hall, Church of the Advent, 555 Advent Street in Westbury. They'll run from 7:30 to 8:30PM on six Tuesday evenings beginning May 10 and advance registration is recommended.
